The Newport Beach Police Department Retirees' Association, Inc. was founded by Stan
Bressler and Kent Stoddard on July 1, 2003. NBPDRA exists to represent retirees as a
unified group to protect and to lobby for retiree benefits and to provide a vehicle through
which we can maintain contact with each other. NBPDRA is recognized as the only group
representing NBPD retirees. We have over 135 members living throughout the Country
and we maintain a database with employment history on over 250 former NBPD
employees. All NBPD retirees, sworn and civilian, are encouraged to join us.
This website was created by Kent Stoddard on 7-9-2009. Many of the archive photos were
provided by Lee Roberts. With the exceptions of those archive photos and some photos
provided by other members, all other photos were taken by Kent and Marlynne Stoddard.
We meet monthly at the Newport Beach Yacht Club (Bayside Dr. & Jamboree Rd.). The
meetings are typically held on the first Wednesday of each month at 9 AM.
